This is a brutal setback for Orlando and for Wagner's fantasy managers. The Magic will re-evaluate Wagner in three weeks, putting his earliest possible return date at March 11. The Magic will proceed with caution, however. In his his absence, players such as Anthony Black, Noah Penda and Tristan da Silva could take on larger roles.
With Black out, Tristan da Silva will likely return to the starting lineup, and there will be more minutes available for Jett Howard. For now, Black should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Cavs, which will be the first of a back-to-back set.
Richardson will be ruled out for a second straight game due to back spasms. With Anthony Black (back) also sidelined, Jett Howard and Jevon Carter could see expanded roles.
