Heat at Jazz: Money on the Floor, January 24, 2026
The Heat have yet to release a timetable, but the earliest possible return for Herro is set at Jan. 28 for the time being. With this news, the Heat are likely to lean more on Norman Powell and Jaime Jacquez for the short term, as well as Pelle Larsson and Nikola Jovic.
Out
T. Rozier
Rozier was arrested Thursday morning as part of an FBI sports betting gambling probe, and the NBA is acting quickly while this investigation gets underway. As of now, there is no known timetable for a potential return for Rozier, as this could be a lengthy process.
Mitchell will miss a second straight game after not playing in the loss to the Trail Blazers on Thursday, and he's now missed four of Miami's previous six contests. Mitchell has started every game he's played this season, but with his absence, expect rookie Kasparas Jakucionis to slide back into the starting five.
Ware is set to miss his fourth consecutive contest Sunday, and his next opportunity to play will come at home against the Magic on Wednesday. With the second-year big man sidelined, Nikola Jovic will likely see increased playing time behind Bam Adebayo.
