The Heat have yet to release a timetable, but the earliest possible return for Herro is set at Jan. 28 for the time being. With this news, the Heat are likely to lean more on Norman Powell and Jaime Jacquez for the short term, as well as Pelle Larsson and Nikola Jovic.
Out
T. Rozier
Rozier was arrested Thursday morning as part of an FBI sports betting gambling probe, and the NBA is acting quickly while this investigation gets underway. As of now, there is no known timetable for a potential return for Rozier, as this could be a lengthy process.
Mitchell was downgraded to doubtful hours before tipoff, and he's since been ruled out due to bruised left shoulder. Kasparas Jakucionis is a candidate to start in Mitchell's place Thursday.
Ware has already been ruled out for Thursday's clash against the Trail Blazers, but the fact that he's left the team puts his status for Saturday in Utah and Sunday in Phoenix in serious doubt. The team returns home from the current road trip after Sunday's matchup, so it's possible the big man will remain out until then. The Heat should have additional clarification on his availability over the next day or so.
