Money On The Floor started with a familiar NBA frustration: why is my playoff-caliber team losing to a team that's clearly tanking?
Injuries explained part of it, but not all of it. After digging into injury reports and doing some quick math, we realized the so-called underdog actually had far more active salary available that night. They had more money on the floor.
We looked for a simple way to see this information at a glance, every game, every night, without pulling out a calculator or digging through endless menus. A clean view of who's actually playing, how much salary is available, and how the matchups really stack up. It didn't exist.
So we built it.
Money On The Floor shows game-day matchups through the lens of active roster value.
And we'll keep adding new ways to understand how availability and lineup reality shape the outcome of games.
