Antetokounmpo will remain sidelined for yet another matchup while dealing with a left knee hyperextension and bone bruise. He'll have one more opportunity to appear in the regular-season finale Sunday against Philadelphia, though it would seem that his 2025-26 campaign is over.
Portis has already missed the last nine games. With only one more chance to suit up after Friday's contest, it is looking like the 31-year-old won't be back on the floor again this season. While Portis remains sidelined, Pete Nance and Jericho Sims could continue to see more work.
Out For Season
K. Porter Jr.
As expected, Porter won't return for the remainder of the season after dealing with lingering right knee synovitis that required arthroscopic surgery. The 25-year-old point guard will end the season with averages of 17.4 points, 7.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 33.2 minutes per contest across 38 regular-season outings (36 starts). He holds a $5.39 million player option for the 2026-27 campaign.
After being downgraded to questionable earlier in the day, Rollins will ultimately take a seat on Friday due to a lingering right hip strain. The 23-year-old was highly productive during Wednesday's loss to Detroit, racking up 23 points and six assists across 33 minutes, but the Bucks have opted to exercise caution with his injury. With Rollins unavailable for a depleted Milwaukee squad, AJ Green is expected to take on primary playmaking duties, while Taurean Prince should remain in the starting five for a third consecutive contest.
Trent missed three consecutive contests before suiting up for Wednesday's 137-111 loss to Detroit, finishing with seven points and one assist. However, the veteran won't play Friday. With Trent out of commission, AJ Green and Ryan Cormac will presumably continue to see more action.
Out
G. Harris
Harris has been available intermittently in the last few months. Despite the Bucks being without most of their top offensive producers, Harris likely wouldn't have made much of an impact on the scoring end, considering he is averaging only 2.7 points per game this season.
Nance is the latest injury setback for the shorthanded Bucks. His absence could open things up even more for Ousmane Dieng and Jericho Sims in the frontcourt.
