This is a tough blow for Denver after Watson suffered the setback during Wednesday's win over the Jazz. With the playoffs quickly approaching, the Nuggets are likely to tread carefully. In the meantime, Cameron Johnson and Julian Strawther are likely to be more involved for Denver.
The 24-year-old forward will miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a right hamstring strain, and it's not an encouraging sign that he continues to be ruled out a day in advance of tipoff. With Jones and Peyton Watson (hamstring) both sidelined, Julian Strawther will likely continue seeing meaningful playing time.
