Murray missed Friday's loss in Sacramento due to rest purposes during the second night of a back-to-back set, but he'll be sidelined Sunday due to a new hand injury. Given he was initially listed as questionable, Murray appears to be day-to-day. However, it's unclear if he'll suit up during the final week of the regular season, as the Pelicans have nothing to play for. With Trey Murphy (ankle) also sidelined Sunday, Jeremiah Fears should see increased usage.
Murphy has been downgraded from questionable to out and will be back on the sidelines Sunday after making two straight appearances following a three-game absence. With Dejounte Murray (hand) also sidelined, Jeremiah Fears should see increased usage in New Orleans' backcourt.
Matkovic will miss a third straight game due to back spasms. In his absence, Derik Queen has been seeing more minutes. Matkovic's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Jazz.
Mc Gowens will remain sidelined while on the mend from a fractured toe. The team hasn't provided much of an update on his rehab, so it's unclear if he'll return before the regular season comes to an end. Mc Gowens' next chance to suit up will arrive Tuesday against the Jazz.
