Edwards returned from a six-game absence for Monday's win over Dallas, finishing with 17 points, two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes from off the bench. However, he won't play Thursday, meaning his next chance to suit up will be Friday in Philadelphia. Without Edwards, Bones Hyland, Terrence Shannon and Ayo Dosunmu should all see more action, with two of those players expected to start now that Jaden Mc Daniels (knee) is out as well.
Including Monday's game versus Dallas, Mc Daniels is likely to miss at least Minnesota's next four contests with this timeline for a return. His absence should allow Kyle Anderson to play a significant role in the frontcourt for the time being.
