Wizards at Heat: Money on the Floor, March 10, 2026
It wasn't a good sign to see Herro added to the injury report late due to left quad soreness. The veteran wing will indeed sit out of Tuesday's game, and his next opportunity to play is Thursday against the Bucks. The Heat will be without Herro, Norman Powell (groin), Andrew Wiggins (toe) and Kel'el Ware (shoulder), so more playing time will be available for the likes of Jaime Jaquez, Pelle Larsson, Myron Gardner and Simone Fontecchio.
Wiggins will miss a third consecutive contest due to a left big toe injury, and it's not a positive sign that he's being ruled out a day in advance of tipoff. His next opportunity to play will come Thursday against Milwaukee. With the veteran forward sidelined, Myron Gardner and Simone Fontecchio (groin), who is listed as probable, are candidates to see increased minutes.
Out
T. Rozier
Rozier was arrested Thursday morning as part of an FBI sports betting gambling probe, and the NBA is acting quickly while this investigation gets underway. As of now, there is no known timetable for a potential return for Rozier, as this could be a lengthy process.
Powell will miss a sixth consecutive contest due to a right groin strain and is without a definitive timetable for a return. He should be considered doubtful ahead of Thursday's game against the Bucks. With the veteran swingman sidelined, Pelle Larsson, Dru Smith and Kasparas Jakucionis are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.
The Heat continue to keep Jovic from playing for lower-back injury management. The fourth-year forward holds no definitive timetable for a return to the floor and can be labeled as out indefinitely.
Ware was unable to shake his questionable tag and will miss his first game since Jan. 25. Presumably, he'll be listed as day-to-day ahead of Thursday's game against the Bucks. Myron Gardner and Jaime Jaquez are candidates for more minutes with this news.
