Siakam will miss a third consecutive contest due to a left wrist sprain. His next opportunity to play will come Wednesday against the Clippers, which marks the first outing of a four-game road trip. With Siakam sidelined, Jarace Walker, Kobe Brown and Micah Potter are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.
Back in July, the Pacers ruled Haliburton out for the 2025-26 season shortly after the star point guard underwent surgery to address the Achilles tendon he tore in Indiana's loss to Oklahoma City in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. While the Pacers' stance with Haliburton doesn't appear to have changed amid a non-contending season, the 25-year-old is seemingly coming along even faster than anticipated during his rehab process. If Haliburton is able to advance to 5-on-5 work by the spring, he'll likely be in line for a relatively normal offseason and should be free of restrictions for the start of training camp next fall.
Zubac will remain on the sidelines Sunday as he continues to recover from a left ankle sprain. Head coach Rick Carlisle recently noted that the veteran center is still "a while" away from returning to game action, and the 15-45 Pacers are expected to remain cautious with his ramp-up process.
Nembhard's injury status for Sunday's game improved from doubtful to questionable, but the fourth-year guard will not suit up while working through a lingering back injury. In his absence, T.J. Mc Connell and Kam Jones figure to be the top candidates to enter Indiana's starting lineup. Nembhard's next opportunity to play is Wednesday against the Clippers.
Nesmith will miss a fifth consecutive game while recovering from a right ankle sprain he suffered Feb. 19 against the Wizards. Head coach Rick Carlisle previously noted that the wing would likely be sidelined for at least one week, and while Nesmith is nearing the end of that timeline, he remains unavailable for the team's first game of March.
Furphy started in 21 of 35 regular-season appearances for the Pacers, posting averages of 5.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.7 three-pointers in 18.4 minutes per contest. While no timetable has been announced, Furphy's absence could extend through the beginning of the 2026-27 season. With this news, the Pacers will likely lean more on Ben Sheppard, Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson moving forward.
