Timberwolves at Clippers: Money on the Floor, February 26, 2026
Leonard was unable to shake his questionable tag for this contest, but he remains day-to-day. The Clippers begin a back-to-back set Sunday against the Pelicans, so it will be interesting to see how the team handles this. Bennedict Mathurin and Jordan Miller are likely to see expanded roles Thursday.
Garland will also go through another scrimmage Thursday, but he's not going to be cleared to play against the Timberwolves. A return March 1 against the Pelicans could be on the table if Garland continues to progress, so fantasy managers may not have to wait much longer to see him debut for the Clippers.
Collins is out for a second consecutive contest due to a head laceration and neck soreness. Sunday's tilt against the Pelicans marks the 28-year-old power forward's next chance to suit up. With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) also sidelined, Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders appear to be worth streaming in most fantasy formats in a pinch.
This is a devastating blow for Beal and the Clippers. The official diagnosis is a fractured left hip, and an exact timetable has yet to be announced. Beal signed a two-year, $11 million deal with the Clippers prior to the season, and the second year of his deal includes a player option which he may be likely to pick up with this news. With Beal out for the season, the Clippers could lean pretty heavily on Kris Dunn. Guys like Bogdan Bogdanovic and Chris Paul could reemerge too, but they've been afterthoughts in the rotation for the most part.
