Avdija will miss a fourth consecutive game due to a back strain. His absence likely means Jerami Grant will draw another start. Avdija's next chance to play will come Monday against Philadelphia.
Lillard underwent surgery on a torn Achilles tendon in his left foot over the summer after suffering the injury during the first round of the NBA playoffs with the Bucks against the Pacers. The veteran guard was then waived by Milwaukee on July 1, making him an unrestricted free agent. The future Hall of Famer then decided to return to the Blazers on a three-year contract worth $42 million with a player option for the 2027-28 season. He also has a no-trade clause in his deal.
This is a maintenance day for Williams on the second leg of this back-to-back set, which is nothing new for the center. Yang Hansen could see some minutes as the backup behind Donovan Clingan on Saturday.
Thybulle underwent thumb surgery in late October and is also dealing with right knee tendinopathy. He should be considered week-to-week until the Trail Blazers offer an update on his progress.
After missing more than the first half of the regular season due to a torn left hamstring, Henderson made his season debut in Friday's win over Memphis, posting 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3 Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, five rebounds and one steal across 21 minutes off the bench. However, he'll sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against Philadelphia.
Sharpe exited Friday's win over Memphis early due to the calf issue and won't suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against the 76ers. In the meantime, Vit Krejci and Blake Wesley are candidates for increased minutes, while Caleb Love could rejoin the Portland rotation.
