Pacers at Bucks: Money on the Floor, February 6, 2026
Back in July, the Pacers ruled Haliburton out for the 2025-26 season shortly after the star point guard underwent surgery to address the Achilles tendon he tore in Indiana's loss to Oklahoma City in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. While the Pacers' stance with Haliburton doesn't appear to have changed amid a non-contending season, the 25-year-old is seemingly coming along even faster than anticipated during his rehab process. If Haliburton is able to advance to 5-on-5 work by the spring, he'll likely be in line for a relatively normal offseason and should be free of restrictions for the start of training camp next fall.
Thursday's trade between the Clippers and Pacers has not been finalized as all players involved -- including Zubac -- have yet to pass physicals. Carlisle relayed that the earliest Zubac could make his Pacers debut would be Tuesday against the Knicks, but it appears as though the veteran center's absence could extend beyond that depending on the severity of his injury. Jay Huff figures to be the Pacers' starting center for as long as Zubac is sidelined.
With the way the season has gone for Indiana, the team is in no position to rush Toppin back to the court. Fantasy managers should operate under the assumption that Toppin will be sidelined through the All-Star break.
The earliest Brown will make his Pacers debut is Tuesday in New York against the Knicks. However, given he last saw double-digit minutes back on Jan. 12 with the Clippers, it's possible Brown ends up being a negligible part of the Indiana rotation.
