Hornets at Rockets: Money on the Floor, February 5, 2026
White has been dealing with this nagging calf injury all season, so hopefully, with some extended rest, he'll finally be able move past the issue. White will miss the next four games for Charlotte, and with the Hornets coming out of the break with a back-to-back set, there's a chance that White will need to remain on the sidelines for their matchup with the Rockets on Feb. 19.
An illness will force Salaun to the sidelines Thursday, but he's not a consistent part of the Hornets' rotation, anyway. His next chance to suit up will come Saturday in Atlanta.
The Mavs have reportedly been eying Jones this season, and they were able to strike a deal on deadline day to bring him into the fold in Dallas. He's an intriguing addition, as Jones will add some playmaking at the guard position that they didn't previously have, and it'll be interesting to see how large a role he's able to carve out, competing for minutes with Ryan Nembhard and Brandon Williams. Jones could be worth a speculative add in deep leagues for those seeking some dimes and steals.
Out
K. Simpson
This will be Simpson's fifth consecutive game on the sidelines due to the hip issue, and for now, he should be considered doubtful for Saturday's game in Atlanta. When the Hornets' backcourt has been healthy this season, Simpson has been a negligible part of the rotation.
