Celtics at Bulls: Money on the Floor, January 24, 2026
Collins suffered a significant right big toe sprain in late December, and he's not expected to shed his walking boot until late January or early February, at the earliest, per Johnson. Collins' absence has meant more minutes for Julian Phillips and Patrick Williams.
Jones is dealing with a left hamstring strain and is slated to miss an extended stretch. The guard has started 20 of his 38 appearances this season but was deployed off the bench in the Bulls' past three games. In his absence, Chicago could lean more on Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter.
The No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Essengue's rookie season comes to an end with just two brief appearances to his name. The Bulls had a plan to bring him along slowly, to be clear, and he showed a lot of promise in four G League appearances with averages of 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.3 three-pointers.
