As per usual, Demin is being held out for maintenance for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Demin was battling left foot plantar fasciitis at the beginning of the campaign, and the Nets have been cautious ever since. Nolan Traore and Tyrese Martin could see some extra reps as a result Monday.
In addition to an illness, Sharpe also has a throat contusion. During Sunday's loss to Chicago, he logged 19 minutes with five points, five rebounds and four assists. With Sharpe sidelined, the Nets could lean more on Danny Wolf.
Out
C. Thomas
Monday is the second half of a back-to-back for the Nets, who are giving Thomas a maintenance day. The expectation is that the shooting guard will return to the lineup for Wednesday's matchup against the Knicks. The likes of Nolan Traore, Drake Powell and Terance Mann should see a boost in minutes Monday.
Out
H. Highsmith
Highsmith remains without a timetable for a return due to right knee injury management. The forward still hasn't made his season debut and can be considered out indefinitely until the Nets provide another update on his recovery.
